NCCIA building to be completed within deadline: DG

ISLAMABAD: National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency [NCCIA] Director GeneralSyed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Monday directed the authorities concerned to complete construction work of the new headquarters building of the agency in Islamabad within the stipulated period without compromising the quality standards.

Chairing an important meeting at NCCIA Headquarters, the DG was given a detailed briefing by officers on construction activities, overall progress, approved design, quality of construction material, working labs, IT infrastructure and other technical matters.

Senior officers of NCCIA headquarters and heads of relevant wings attended the meeting.

Mr Rizvi expressed satisfaction over pace and quality of construction work and directed that work be completed within timeframe according to high standards so that the agency could become functional in the new building at the earliest.

He said all facilities in line with modern requirements, including modern forensic labs, digital investigation system and better working environment for officers and officials, would be provided in the new building.

He said completion of the new building would further enhance professional capacity of NCCIA and strengthen ongoing efforts for prevention of cyber crimes, according to a press release issued by the office of public relations officer, NCCIA.
