Two teenagers drown in Gambila River

LAKKI MARWAT: Two teenage boys drowned in the Gambila River near Takhtikhel area here on Sunday.

An official of the Rescue 1122 said that they dispatched divers to the venue after receiving information about the incident.

He said that the divers launched a search with the help of villagers and pulled out the bodies from the river.

He identified the boys as Asifullah, 14, and Abubakar, 15, a resident of Takhtikhel.

The bodies were handed over to the families after fulfilling legal formalities at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Serai Naurang.
