LAKKI MARWAT: Two people were killed and one was injured over a blood feud in the Karak district, police said the other day.

They said the double murder occurred in the Old Bazaar area within the limits of Latambar police station.

They identified the deceased as Abrar, 42, and Noorul Bashar, 22, and said that the bodies and injured man were transferred to a hospital.

Himatullah, 55, who was injured in the attack, told police that two armed motorcyclists sprayed them with bullets when they were on their way to Latambar Bazaar on a motorcycle.

He said the attackers who fled the place had a murder enmity with the deceased, Abrar.

Police said that the bodies were handed over to the relatives for burial after completing medico legal formalities. They said that they had initiated an investigation after registering a case against the killers under the relevant sections of the law.

Meanwhile, six proclaimed offenders were arrested during separate actions in Karak district.

A police official said that DPO Imran Khan had alerted police following credible information about the presence of wanted suspects in the area.

He said that the law enforcers raided the hideouts of criminals and captured six POs wanted by the police in murder, attempted murder and other cases.
