LAHORE: The Punjab government has granted a two-year age relaxation in upper age limit “as a special one-time dispensation” to the candidates appearing for the Provincial Management Service (PMS) (BS-17) combined competitive examination to be conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission in 2026 and 2027.

The candidates up to age 32 years are now eligible under the special dispensation.

This decision has been notified by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) following amendments accorded by the Punjab governor in the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper age limit) Rules, 1976.

This age relaxation shall be admissible only for recruitment of the post of PMS (BS-17), which will take effect from Jan 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2027.
