KARACHI: Two men were found dead inside a car parked at a garage at Seaview Apartments near Nishan-i-Pakistan on Wednesday.

Darakshan SHO Rashid Ali said one of the deceased was identified as Asadullah, a resident of Shirin Jinnah Colony. He was a mechanic and had been reported missing from his shop at Badar Commercial in DHA by his brother.

However, the SHO said the brother had not told the police that the deceased also worked as a driver for a family whose car he was found in.

He said the identity of the second deceased, a man in his early 20s, could not be ascertained till late in the evening.

The officer said the vehicle had run out of fuel, raising the possibility that the engine was running and the men died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
