LAHORE: A sessions court on Tuesday deferred the indictment proceedings against YouTuber Rajab Butt and four other suspects on charges of alleged sexual assault on a female TikToker.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab heard a private complaint filed by TikToker Ayesha Jutt against Butt, Salman Haider, Maan Dogar and two other suspects.
All the suspects appeared before the court in compliance with the summons issued against them for not joining the proceedings.
The judge ordered the suspects to furnish fresh bail bonds and deferred the indictment proceedings till Aug 29.
TikToker Jutt had filed a private complaint in 2025 alleging that she was subjected to sexual assault and subsequent blackmailing by the suspects.
Jutt claimed to have evidence to prove the allegations including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The suspects, who rejected the charges against them, had secured pre-arrest bail from a sessions court.
The TikToker had filed the complaint before the court after Nawab Town police discharged the suspects in an FIR by her on similar charges.
