IGP lays foundation stone of new Constabulary barracks

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa inspector general of police Zulfiqar Hameed laid the foundation stone of new Constabulary barracks at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines on Saturday.

During the ceremony, capital city police officer Mian Saeed Ahmed briefed KP IGP on architectural layout, primary objectives, accommodation capacity and residential amenities designated for police personnel.

Addressing the event, KP IGP highlighted that police personnel remain department’s most valuable asset.

He further said that making their welfare and standard of living was a top operational priority.

He said that enhanced and dignified housing directly boosts police personnel morale and duty performance. He said that a motivated and confident police force was essential for delivering timely and efficient services to public.
