HYDREABAD: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) on Saturday announced the final results of Combined Competitive Examination-2024.
A total of 21 candidates have been recommended for appointment against various provincial posts — six of them in BS-17 under the Provincial Management Service and 15 others in BS-18 for the post of DSP (deputy superintendent of police).
The recruitment process, stretched over multiple stages, was completed in accordance with the prescribed rules and criteria, ensuring merit, transparency and fairness throughout the process, according to SPSC officials.
They said that three candidates recommended for the Provincial Management Service happened to be women.
A spokesman for the commission said that in response SPSC’s invitation to take the exam, 26,790 candidates submitted their applications. A screening test was conducted simultaneously in October 2025 at various exam centres in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana.
A total of 17,271 candidates appeared in the screening test and out of them 11,179 candidates passed it.
The written test for the successful candidates of the screening test was subsequently conducted in December 2025 in which 4,340 candidates had appeared. The results of 70 successful candidates were announced and they were directed to submit the required documents for further process.
After scrutiny and verification of the required documents, the spokesman said, viva voce / interview of qualified candidates was conducted in July 2026. After completion of the selection process, 21 candidates have now been recommended appointment against available posts in the departments concerned, he said.
“The SPSC has ensured that all applicable constitutional, legal and policy requirements are duly observed during recruitment process, including the prescribed male / female and rural / urban quota arrangements.
The detailed final results, including marks obtained by candidates, have been uploaded on official website of SPSC for information of candidates and the general public,” he said.
