Marvel teases first Avengers: Doomsday trailer

Marvel Studios has sparked excitement by teasing the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday through a glitchy video posted on The Fantastic Four’s official X account.

The clip suddenly cuts to black as Reed Richards warns, “Not long,” hinting at the arrival of Doctor Doom. Fans believe the trailer will premiere during Marvel’s Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.

The film, directed by the Russo brothers and releasing on December 18, 2026, will unite the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Wakandan warriors and Thunderbolts against Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

Marvel has also confirmed that The Fantastic Four: First Steps directly sets up the events of the upcoming blockbuster, making it a key chapter in the Multiverse Saga.

Shocking twist in Spider-Versity #4

Marvel has introduced a shocking twist in The Amazing Spider-Man: Spider-Versity #4 by merging two of Spider-Man’s most feared enemies.

The deadly symbiote Carnage, known for bonding only with the most ruthless hosts, has chosen Norman Osborn, better known as the Green Goblin. The result is a terrifying villain that combines Carnage’s brutal powers with the Goblin’s intelligence, weapons and madness.

The comic’s story, titled Carnage on Campus, hints at chaos as Spider-Man faces one of his toughest battles yet. The surprise twist has sparked discussion among fans, with many hoping this version of Carnage could one day appear in a future Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland, although Marvel has not announced any such plans.

Grinch sequel with Jim Carrey

A live-action sequel to How the Grinch Stole Christmas is in development, with director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer returning. Jim Carrey is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as the Grinch.

Speaking at the UCLA Entertainment Symposium, Howard said the project moved forward after the creative team developed a story idea that excited everyone involved. Plot details remain under wraps.

Carrey famously struggled with the lengthy makeup and prosthetic process during the original film and nearly quit production. However, he completed the role and later received praise from Howard for his commitment.
