‘Bandit killed in encounter’

LARKANA, July 14: Police on Friday claimed to have killed a notorious bandit, Abdul Wahab Ghanghro, in a brief encounter in Kodrani village near Ratodero. A police team, led by Larkana DPO Irfan Baloch and Qambar-Shahdadkot DPO Sharjil Kharal, raided Wadhapur village in the Waris Dino Machi police area.

During the half an hour encounter, police lobbed tear gas shells forcing outlaws to escape.

In the ensuing firing, Abdul Wahab Ghanghro was killed and his three accomplices were arrested.
