3 citizens kidnapped in Bannu

BANNU: Three separate incidents of kidnapping were reported in different areas of Miryan tehsil in Bannu on Thursday, spreading fear and panic among local residents.

Police have launched efforts to recover the abducted individuals.

According to police sources, unidentified armed men kidnapped Gul Najeeb Khan, son of Mir Dadullah Jan, a resident of Zonda Ghaibi, within jurisdiction of Miryan police station. The abductors reportedly took him to an undisclosed location. His family has expressed deep concern and demanded his immediate recovery.

In the second incident, which occurred in Manday Chowk area, unidentified armed men abducted Hussain, about 19 years old, son of Damsaz Khan, and resident of Mambati Barakzai. The motives behind the kidnapping remain unclear, while the police are investigating the case from multiple angles.

Meanwhile, another kidnapping case was reported from Noorar area, also within the limits of Miryan police station. Unidentified armed men allegedly abducted Fayaz, son of Shah Baraz, a resident of Noorar, and took him to an unknown location. The reasons behind this incident have not yet been determined.

Police officials said that investigations into all three cases are ongoing. Search operations and intelligence-based efforts are being carried out to ensure safe recovery of the kidnapped individuals.
