The Pesco officials said power transmission linepassing through the hilly terrain are frequently affected during adverse weather conditions and strong winds, resulting in repeated power outages.

Local residents complained that relevant authorities had failed to take effective measures for permanent repair and protection of the power transmission line, causing the problem to recur repeatedly.
