Two minor boys raped in Kasur, one dies

KASUR: An eight-year-old boy died allegedly due to rape and torture at the seminary at village Rao Khanwala in the limits of the Raja Jang Police Station on Monday. The victim was studying and residing at a seminary at village Rao Khanwala.

According to first information report (FIR), lodged on the complaint of the victim’s father, the seminary teacher informed him at about 12:30am that his son was not well. The complainant rushed to the seminary and took his son to DHQ Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

According to police, initial medical report had confirmed unnatural offence with the minor boy that caused his death. The medical report also suggested torture of the boy.

Police sent the samples obtained from the victim’s body for forensic analysis also. In a separate incident, an unidentified suspect raped a six-year-old boy on Monday at Kot Ibrahim in the limits of the Kanganpur Police Station.

According to the complainant, the paternal uncle of the child took him to the roof of a marriage hall and raped him. The suspect escaped, leaving the minor in critical condition.

Police lodged a case after obtaing medical report of the boy confirming raped.

SUICIDE: An undertrial died by suicide after jumping from the window of the first floor of DHQ Hospital in the Saddar police area.

DPO Aftab Ahmed Phularwan suspended four cops who were on duty and ordered a probe to determine the facts of the incident.

The undertrial prisoner was booked with B Division police on the complaint of his wife over domestic violence.

Arshad (40) of Rukanpura was admitted to the DHQ Hospital with health complications, some two days back. On Monday, he managed to move the scuffle and jumped from the widow of the first floor of the public hospital.

According to SHO Zulifqar Ahmed, the man tried to escape from the window rather than to commit suicide.
