CHINIOT: The rescuers are clueless about the girl’s body who is suspected to have drowned in the river.

Rescue 1122 officials halted the 24-hour long search operation after they could not find the body of 22-year-old Irum Bibi, daughter of Mirza, a resident of Chak 44-JB.

The family suspected that she had not drowned and went missing.

On Sunday, Irum came to the Chenab Bridge along with some friends where the friends made hue and cry that Irum had jumped into the river from the bridge. At this, the rescue workers reached and started an operation to search for the body, but they could not find it.

Irum’s family said that they would continue to search for her in collaboration with police and other sources.
