KURRAM: Students organised an art exhibition at the Governor’s Cottage, Parachinar, here the other day. Students of National College of Arts (NCA) organised the exhibition titled ‘Peace’ under the banner of ‘Education Through Art’.

Additional deputy commissioner Amir Nawaz, assistant commissioner Khalid Imran, education experts, heads of schools and colleges, and a large number of students attended the exhibition.

Addressing the event, Mr Nawaz said that spreading the message of peace through fine arts is a highly effective and commendable initiative. He described the programme as a positive step toward establishing peace in the region and praised the efforts of the organisers and students.

Other speakers stated that such activities not only highlighted children’s creative abilities but also played a vital role in promoting positive thinking in society. They called the programme a symbol of a bright future for the region’s youth.

Organisers said students beautifully portrayed themes of peace, love, and brotherhood in their artwork, and their performance exceeded all expectations. They added that such programmes would continue to provide students with opportunities to refine their talent and skills.
