PDMA forecasts rain in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has forecast heavy rains with thunderstorm in different districts of Balochistan from Thursday (today).

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PDMA said Quetta, Zhob, Loralai, Ziarat, Harnai and Qila Saifullah districts of Balochistan are expected to receive heavy rains with strong winds and thunderstorms. “Hailstorm will also hit some areas of the province while there is also a likelihood of lightning strike incidents.”

The departments concerned have also been directed to ensure necessary measures have been taken to prevent any untoward situation.
