RAWALPINDI: A woman died after she suffered an electric shock while washing clothes in her house in Dhamial area on Sunday.
According to police reports, Hafiza Bibi, 43, a resident of Pathan Colony on Chakri Road, was washing clothes in the washing machine when she suffered an electric shock.
On receiving the incident report, Rescue 1122 staff reached the spot with an ambulance. However, the woman had already died before receiving any medical aid.
Later, her body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for postmortem.
