Arts Council honours actor Faysal Quraishi

KARACHI: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organised a ceremony to pay tribute to the country’s renowned actor Faysal Quraishi in recognition of his outstanding services and remarkable performance in the showbiz industry.

The ceremony, presided over by legendary actor Mustafa Qureshi, was also attended by artists from the film and television industry including Behroze Sabzwari, Salahuddin Tunio, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Shehzad Nawaz, Hanif Raja and others, said a press release issued here on Monday.

Arts Council President Ahmed Shah was also present at the event, where a special showreel based on Faysal Quraishi’s artistic journey was also presented.

A musical programme and comedy night were also organised on the occasion, where artists delivered outstanding performances.

Speaking on the occasion, Faysal Quraishi said the industry is like a family where people support one another.
