LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Friday denied physical remand of two women allegedly linked to Anmol Pinky’s network and sent them to jail on judicial remand.

A team of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) produced Maria Umar and Rimsha Asim before the court and sought their physical remand for investigation. However, Magistrate Fahad Khan Sarwar rejected the request and sent the women to jail on judicial remand.

According to the prosecution, the two women are allegedly part of Anmol Pinky’s network. They were arrested after the LHC rejected their bail petitions a day earlier.

The ANF had registered a case against the women, accusing them of money laundering through proceeds generated from drug trafficking. It also accused them of accumulating properties worth around Rs400m in the Defence area between 2018 and 2025. It alleged that bank transactions amounting to Rs750m had been traced in their accounts.
