LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday sold its several plots for Rs2.11bn through open auction held at Expo Centre, Johar Town.
A total of 58 residential and commercial plots included education sites, hospital sites and other commercial sites and commercial buildings.
Some of the highest bids and plots were following. Leasehold rights of Plot No 1-B, Finance and Trade Centre, Johar Town petrol pump site, were auctioned for Rs184.5m, while the Avenue One Block-B petrol pump site fetched Rs85.5m. Plot No 29, Civic Centre, Quaid-i-Azam Town petrol pump site was auctioned for Rs66m. Plot No C62-C73, Block B-3, Gujjarpura petrol pump site fetched Rs67.5m.
Leasehold rights of Plot No 7-A, Finance and Trade Centre, Johar Town marquee site, were auctioned at an annual rent of Rs46.5m while Plot No 7-B of the same centre fetched Rs43.5m annually. The leasehold rights of a constructed commercial building at Finance and Trade Centre Johar Town were auctioned for Rs44m.Among major commercial transactions, Plot No 17, Commercial Zone Avenue One, was auctioned for Rs46m; Plot No 18 for Rs46m; and Plot No 20 for Rs51m. Plot No 24, Commercial Zone Avenue One, fetched Rs53m.
Commercial Plot No 52, Corner Jubilee Town, was auctioned for Rs104m, and Plot No 53, Civic Centre Jubilee Town, fetched the same amount. Commercial Plot No 18, Jahanzeb Block, Allama Iqbal Town, fetched Rs77m, while Plot No 18-A was auctioned for Rs79m.Commercial Plot No 62, Civic Centre Sabzazar, fetched Rs86m. Commercial Plots No 23 and 26, Civic Centre Mustafa Town, were auctioned for Rs54m and Rs52m, respectively.
Plot No 276, Block-E LDA City, was auctioned for Rs56m. Plots No 431 and 432, Block D-2 Johar Town, were each auctioned for Rs59.57 million and Plot No 122, Block-C Tajpura, fetched Rs51m.
