LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reached Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, on Saturday along with a delegation on a chartered plane for a three-day visit, a handout says.

Mehman Bakhshiyev, the deputy minister for defence industry of the host country, received them.

Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to meet Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on May 17. She will represent Pakistan at the World Urban Forum and will address the summit at Baku Olympic Stadium. She will discuss Punjab’s “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” initiative at the forum.
