ISLAMABAD: Robbers and burglars looted cash and valuables worth millions of rupees in five different strikes in capital, police said.

In the first incident, four robbers looted cash gold and valuables from a house at Jubad after holding the residents at gunpoint.

A gang of robbers looted Rs565,000 from a man on IJP Road at gunpoint and escaped.

Two gunmen intercepted Sumail Masih when he reached the town on a motorcycle and looted cash and snatched a motorcycle at gunpoint in Al-Huda Town and escaped.

Moreover, some burglars broke into a house in Bhara Kahu and looted cash and valuables worth Rs4.8 million.

Meanwhile, thieves stole valuables worth Rs900,000 from the house of Sardar Zubair Khurshid in National Police Foundation.
