Two hurt in Dera Bugti mine blast

QUETTA: Two members of a peace force were injured in a landmine blast in Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti district on Wednesday.

According to police, unidentified miscreants had planted a landmine in Pirkoh area which exploded when the motorcycle the two members of the peace force were riding hit the landmine.

“The blast of the landmine seriously injured both members of the peace force,” a senior police officer said.

Police rushed to the area and took the injured to a district hospital.

The condition of the injured is serious. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
