KARACHI: Robbers snatched 10,000 UAE dirhams, cell phone and other valuables from a man near Lasbella bridge within the remit of the Rizvia police station on Monday evening.

Officials said four robbers riding two motorcycles intercepted Daniyal Ahmed, also riding a motorbike, when he was returning from Saddar. They held him at gunpoint and looted cash, cell phone and his passport and rode away.

They said that Daniyal arrived in Karachi from Dubai on Monday morning. Later, he went to Saddar for some work and was returning home when the incident happened.
