Strict implementation of one dish policy to be ensured in Islamabad: DC

ISLAMABAD: The capital administration has decided to ensure strict implementation of one dish policy and legal action will be taken aganist the violator including registration of cases.

On second time violation, owners of the marquees and halls will be arrested, and marquees and halls will be sealed.

The orders were issued from the office of the deputy commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon. In addition to arrest, heavy fines will be imposed for holding events inside sealed buildings.

DC Islamabad also directed the police to ensure registration of case and arrest of owner over the violation. Strict implementation of the government’s one dish policy will be ensured, the DC directed. DC Memon also directed all assistant commissioners to monitor all marquees and halls on daily basis and take action against violators without any discrimination, besides arresting and shifting to police stations the violators.
