KASUR: Ten members of a family, including women and children, suffered injuries as the van carrying them rammed into a parked truck by the roadside at Olakh Mor Head Baloki Road near Phoolnagar on Saturday.

According to Rescue 1122, a van carrying wedding guests was on its way home from Faisalabad. When it reached near Olakh Mor, it hit the truck that had broken down.

The truck, according to rescue sources, was parked on the road side with its lights off. As a result, at least 10 members of the family suffered injuries.

The injured were identified as Husnain, 26, Musarat, 50, Faizan, 17, Nimra, 12, Zahid, 47, Saddam, 38, Robina, 35, Javaid, 40, Fakhar, 42, and Jamil, 36.

The injured were rushed to Phoolnagar hospital.
