Sanghar budget passed

SANGHAR, July 1: District Nazim Haji Khuda Bux Rajar here on Friday presented a budget of Rs2,055.583 million for the fiscal 2006-7.

The budget was passed unanimously by the District Council.

Describing salient features, the nazim said that Rs1,462.009 million had been allocated for the salaries of government employees, Rs160 million for miscellaneous expenses of different departments, Rs420 million for uplift schemes and Rs164.88 million for CCB schemes. He said that Rs120 million of non-salary amount would be spent on development in the district.

He described that the income of the district council was Rs543 million.—Correspondent
