Cash, valuables worth Rs7 million looted in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Robbers and burglars looted cash and valuables worth over Rs7 million from different areas, police said.

Two robbers looted cash and a mobile phone from Mohammad Usman Janjua in Soan Garden. The incident took place when tyre of his car punctured and he was replacing the tyre near block H of the society.

Three riders came on a motorcycle and held him at gunpoint. Later they looted Rs305,000 and a mobile phone from him and escaped.

Three robbers looted cash mobile phones from Shah Nawaz at Rawal Dam. In another robbery, three gunmen robbed Junaid Maqsood of cash, mobile phone and a motorcycle in F-7/4.

Likewise, another gang of robbers looted a motorcycle, cash and a mobile phone worth Rs244,000 from Ahsan and his friend in the area of Sar-e-Kharboza. Azaz Ali was robbed of a motorcycle in Shah Allah Ditta.
