LAHORE: The Punjab government allowed Senator Ejaz Chaudhry’s medical check-up at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, revealing that his kidneys’ condition had further deteriorated.

Senator Chaudhry, incarcerated at Kot Lakhpat jail, is suffering from heart and kidney ailments and his condition has reportedly deteriorated due to the delay in medical treatment. He is suffering from Stage-III kidney disease.

Mr Chaudhry’s son Advocate Ali Chaudhry tweeted that Senator Chaudhry was brought to the PIC where doctors present conducted blood and other investigations. He stated that the blood reports indicated further deterioration of kidneys.
