QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, has achieved a landmark recovery of state land, reflecting its firm commitment to accountability.

The NAB officials said on Friday that through sustained efforts and effective enforcement, the bureau successfully recovered 1.02 million acres of state land, with an estimated value of Rs1.374 trillion, during 2025.

In addition to this achievement, during the first quarter of 2026, it recovered a further 51,576 acres of illegally occupied land, valued at Rs36.54 billion.

Cumulatively, these efforts have resulted in the recovery of 1.07 million acres of state land, with a total estimated value of Rs1.41 trillion. This accomplishment underscores NAB Balochistan’s proactive approach, strengthened institutional coordination, and firm resolve to eliminate illegal land encroachments and ensure the protection of public resources.

The recoveries not only represent a substantial economic gain for the state but also reinforce public confidence in accountability institutions.
