KARACHI, June 25: Police have arrested a gang allegedly involved in the theft of cars from different parts of the city and then selling them in Balochistan.

According to details, the TIO of Saddar Town, Inspector Canseen Deen and TIO New Karachi Inspector Malik Irshad along with a police party, on a tip-off, arrested the accused, identified as Farhatullah Baig s/o Shah Alam Baig and Faraz Alam Baig s/o Shah Alam Baig, who were on board a Suzuki Khyber No ACM-172, from Gulshan Chowrangi.

During the initial investigation, the accused have admitted stealing around 25 cars from various parts of Karachi and selling them in Quetta.—APP
