LAHORE: The Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) has announced the examination schedule for the First Annual Examinations 2026 for various diploma programmes.

According to a notification, the schedule applies to the Diploma of Associate Engineer (including the Sino-Pak Dual Diploma), Diploma in Dress Designing and Dress Making, and City & Guilds Diploma programmes.

The practical examinations for second, third and fourth year candidates will be held on April 16, 2026, while the theory examinations for all years will commence from June 29.

The board also announced the fee submission schedule. As per the schedule, candidates can submit their single examination fee up to March 11, double fee up to March 18, and triple fee up to March 27.

After the triple-fee deadline, forms under hardship cases may be submitted up to April 7 with a Rs500 per day fine.

Candidates appearing under the Golden Chance category can submit the special examination fee up to March 27, while hardship cases will be accepted up to April 7 with a daily Rs500 fine. No admission forms will be accepted after the final deadline.

The examination schedule has been issued on the directions of PBTE Chairman Dr Faisal Mahmood and Controller of Examinations Irfan Qasim Malik, and has been circulated to all concerned institutions.
