LAKKI MARWAT: A teenage boy, who had been kidnapped by terrorists on Feb 19, was found dead in the Paharkhel Pacca area of Lakki Marwat district on Monday, the police said.

Terrorists had abducted Irfanullah, 18, from the village and shifted him to their hideouts in the nearby mountains.

The police quoted a complainant, Saifur Rehman, father of the deceased, as stating in his preliminary report that he along with the help of elders launched a search to secure safe recovery of his son, but to no avail.

They said that the complainant was at home when someone informed him that terrorists brought Irfanullah to the village and shot him dead there.

“The man found the body of his son lying in a pool of blood when he reached the venue,” they added.

The police registered a case under relevant sections of law and began an investigation.
