LAHORE: A young journalist reportedly died after falling from the rooftop of his house in Sanda area here on Sunday night.

As per the reports, the journalist, Zain Malik, was celebrating Basant and he lost his balance when he was standing on the roof of his house.

He was rushed without any delay to a local hospital with multiple and critical head injuries. The treating doctors tried to save his life but to no avail.

According to his friends, he was lastly attached to a private news channel as sports reporter.

He has contracted marriage some three years back. The body was handed over to his family after completing formalities.
