Car-coach collision kills two in Hub

KHUZDAR: Two people, including a young girl, were killed and four others injured in a collision between a car and a passenger coach on the Quetta- Karachi National Highway in the Winder area of Hub district on Saturday.

Police said that the accident occurred near Pir Mujahid when a Karachi bound car coming from Uthal collided head-on with a Quetta-bound passenger coach coming from Karachi.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to Winder Hospital, where the deceased were identified as teenager Manail, granddaughter of local journalist and President of Uthal Press Club Muhammad Umar Lasi, and Waqar Banghsh, a university employee.

The injured included Ghulam Mustafa Lasi, his wife, daughter, and son, who were all shifted to the hospital. The bodies were later handed over to their families.
