Irfan dazzles

LAHORE, June 13: A fine all-round performance by Irfan Zaman propelled Govt Muslim Model High School to a 127-run win over Govt Pilot High School in the PCB National Inter-school Lahore region cricket tournament on Tuesday.

Irfan struck a 74-ball 86 with 13 fours as Muslim Model piled up 306-7 in 45 overs while batting first. Kaleem Ahmed scored a 63-ball 81 with five fours and two sixes.

Irfan then grabbed five wickets for 28 runs with his off-spinners to bundle out Pilot High School for 179 in 33.3 overs.
