From stray cat to a family favourite

This is regarding the story “From stray cat to a family favourite” by Amna Asgher (YW, December 20, 2025).

The story was enjoyable and highlighted the bond that can form between humans and animals, as well as the fun and chaos that pets can bring into a household.

Robots taking over

This is with reference to the story “Robots taking over” by Marium Ahmed (YW, December 20, 2025). It was a fascinating story about artificial intelligence and robots.

Today, our heavy reliance on AI is affecting our creativity, and if we depend on it completely, there is a risk that machines could take over tasks that require human thinking.

Instead of relying entirely on AI, we should trust our own judgement and abilities. It is important to remember that these technologies are created by humans, and human intelligence remains superior to the tools we build.

The art of letting go

This concerns the article “The art of letting go” by Huda Arain (YW, December 27, 2025). The article explored the idea of letting go of things, experiences or people that no longer serve us. I agree with the idea that letting go is not selfish, but a necessary step in personal growth.

The writer rightly said that it’s okay to take time to process these changes, and that both we and others may need to let go for our own benefit. Overall, the article provided thoughtful guidance on accepting change and prioritising one’s own peace of mind.

That winter feeling

This is regarding the article “That winter feeling” by Asif Ali (YW, December 20, 2025). The article beautifully described the unique atmosphere and joys of winter, especially after the stress of exams.

The writer nicely captured small moments like sipping hot drinks, sharing stories, enjoying street food or casual outings that make winter feel special. I am thankful to the YW team for providing us with such unique and informative material every week.

Mini craft stick lamp

This is with reference to the Wonder Crafts section “Mini craft stick lamp” by The Crafter (YW, January 3, 2026).

I loved this craft very much and made it for myself. DIY lamps look lovely, and I request that the writer make more lamp-based crafts in the future.
