QUETTA: Two people were injured in a powerful explosion caused by a gas cylinder at a local hotel near Chaman Phatak area in Quetta.

According to police, a gas cylinder suddenly exploded at the hotel in the Chaman Phatak area on Saturday, wounding Waseel Khan and Amanullah. The hotel building also suffered serious damage due to intensity of the blast.

Upon receiving information about the explosion, police and fire brigade teams reached the area and shifted the injured people to hospital.
