QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday declared that Pakistan remains a strong, resilient and invincible state, founded on the Constitution, the rule of law and the sacrifices of its people.

He said there could be no compromise on the country’s security, stability and sovereignty, adding that law enforcement agencies, particularly the police, were on the frontline in safeguarding the state.

Addressing the 104th passing out parade of the Balochistan police at the Police Training College in Quetta, the chief minister said elements seeking to impose their ideology through violence or talking about breaking Pakistan would always fail.

“Pakistan’s brave forces have stood, continue to stand, and will always stand like an iron wall against every malicious intention,” he said.

He added that while the doors of peace remained open for those willing to return to the constitutional framework, those who persisted in violence would face the same fate as past elements, as the state was fully prepared to confront them.
