KARACHI, June 8: The City District Government has decided to take stern action, including confiscation, against those defaulting in renewal of lease of their properties in Karachi.

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal had directed the revenue department of CDGK to initiate action against defaulters for collection of the arrears.

Accordingly, the concerned department has posted final notices on the houses of 30 owners, who owe Rs142.5 million to the CDGK.

The defaulting owners have been given only three days to get the leases of their properties renewed or otherwise they would be ejected and such properties would be confiscated.—PPI
