SHEIKHUPURA, June 5: As many as 84 nazims, male and female members elected against special seats from different union councils of the district want district nazim Mian Jalil Sharqpuri to quit ‘due to his poor performance.’

At a meeting at the residence of district naib nazim Malik Rehmat Ali Dogar on Monday, they claimed that Sharqpuri was ignoring public problems and was not ready to lend an ear to their demands.

Female member, including Dr. Zamurd Yasmeen, Atya Fiaz, Farzana Masood, Fardus Jahan and Atya Iftikhar said Sharqpuri had failed to distribute development funds judiciously.
