In its latest war update, Israel’s military claims it has struck 140 targets in Gaza over the last day, including fighters and military infrastructure in Gaza City, where its invasion is intensifying, Al Jazeera reports.
In one instance, the military claimed, an air raid killed five fighters in Gaza City who launched an anti-tank missile at nearby Israeli troops. Separate air raids also killed fighters in parts of southern Gaza, according to the military.
