LAHORE: Pakistan moved up in the world baseball rankings, climbing from 35th to 32nd after gaining 29 points from the Asian U-15 Championship.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Federation Baseball, Pakistan won matches in the Asian U-15 Championship against Hong Kong (world No. 27) and Thailand (No. 31).

Three years ago, Pakistan’s global ranking was 22nd but due to lack of funds the country missed a number of events which led to a sharp decline in its ranking.
