PESHAWAR: Acting CJ of PHC

PESHAWAR, May 27: Justice Shahjehan Khan Yousafzai on Saturday took oath as acting chief justice of the Peshawar High Court.

Justice Ijazul Hassan administered the oath. Justice Shahjehan Khan would be the acting chief justice in the absence of Justice Tariq Pervez Khan, chief justice of the high court.

Justice Tariq Pervez has gone to Bangladesh at the invitation of Asian Development Bank to participate in a regional workshop/conference on “Strengthening the judiciary and prosecutorial system.”
