Telecommunication services have largely been restored in flood-hit areas of the country, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) quoted Information Technology and Telecommunication minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja as saying.
While speaking to a private news channel, the minister shared that “90 per cent of towers have now been recovered” after the country’s telecom infrastructure was damaged during recent floods.
“PTA, USF and NTC teams played an important role in managing this crisis,” she said.
