QUETTA: No clue to assistant commissioner of Ziarat, who was kidnapped along with his son while coming back with his family members from a picnic point in Ziarat district on Sunday, has been found till Wednesday.

Ziarat DC Zakaullah Dur­rani said a search operation by security forces was continuing in the area for the recovery of AC Muhammad Afzal Baqi and his son.

Elders of different tribes have also been contacted for using their influence to get the officer released.

No organisation or the group has claimed responsibility. The local administration has announced Rs50 million reward for providing information about whereabouts of the kidnappers.
