SUKKUR: Cardiovascular diseases remain the most common cause of mortality in Pakistan, with cases increasing significantly.

This was stated by Pakistan Cardiac Society (PCS) president Dr Raj Kumar at an event ‘Leaders Track’ organised by the society in collaboration with PharmEvo at a local hotel the other day.

He emphasised the importance of ongoing professional education and collaborative efforts to improve cardiac care outcomes in the country.

The event was aimed at enhancing knowledge-sharing and professional development for healthcare practitioners in the field of cardiology.

The session featured presentations of complex and advanced cardiac cases by leading cardiologists, providing a platform for valuable discussions and knowledge exchange.

A PharmEvo spokesperson, Samer Iqbal Jafri, stated: “At PharmEvo, we are deeply committed to advancing medical education and empowering healthcare professionals through collaborative initiatives like the Leaders Track. We believe that continuous learning is essential to addressing the evolving challenges.”
