KARACHI: An 18-year-old domestic worker died by suicide after he shot himself in a house in the Defence Housing Authority on Wednesday.
Sahil SHO Shahid Taj said that the deceased, Abid Mujahid, shot himself with the pistol of the house owner.
Quoting a cousin of the deceased, the officer said that the teenager was “fed up with his life” and used to say that he would “end his life with the help of Sahib’s [house owner) pistol.”
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
