TAXILA: Three people were killed in various parts of Attock on Sunday, police and hospital sources said.

In the first incident, a man was shot dead in broad daylight in the limits of Hazro police station.

Police sources said Owais was going to his house in Fourmili village when a man hiding behind a wall opened fire at him, killing him on the spot.

Moreover, a teenager drowned while catching fish in a stream in Chakki village in the limits of Pindigheb police station on Sunday.

The police and hospital sources said Zain,18, went to the stream to fish but drowned in deep waters.

Local volunteers retrieved his body and handed it over for burial.

Separately, a man was gunned down over an old enmity in Mirza village in the limits of Attock Saddar police station.

Police sources said 45-year-old Inayat Rehman was going towards the mosque when two men hiding in a hotel shot him dead.
