QUETTA: Former Balochistan governor Abdul Qadir Baloch has resigned from PPP, announcing his retirement from active politics.

The former corps commander of Balochistan began his political career from PML-N and was elected MNA federal minister twice.

Speaking to the media, retired Lt-Gen Baloch confirmed he was completely withdrawing from politics, citing personal reasons and health concerns. He declined to comment if he had any internal disagreements with the PPP. He said he had no more interest in engaging in any political activities or affiliations moving forward.
